Beginning July 1, 2025, a participating county can end its role in Tennessee’s homebuyers revolving loan program. To leave, the county must have made loans greater than its initial loan fund capitalization and must notify the Tennessee Housing Development Agency. When it leaves, the county keeps all money tied to its loan fund pool, including the initial seed money and interest on repayments. This can reduce the statewide pool available for other homebuyers.
