Tennessee nonprofits get five calendar days after this law takes effect to file an annual charitable gaming application. This applies only to event periods July 1, 2024–June 30, 2025, and July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026. The Secretary of State must also send one more omnibus list of approved groups to the Senate and House clerks. That list must arrive by 12:00 noon CDT within 10 calendar days after the law takes effect.
The law deletes parts (d)(1)(A)(ii), (d)(1)(A)(iii), and (f) from section 3-17-103. Those rules no longer apply to charitable gaming groups or the Secretary of State. Removing these parts lifts any requirements they imposed, but also ends any rights or options they gave.
