Law enforcement can wear military medals, with limits

Uniformed law enforcement officers in Tennessee may wear U.S. military, Tennessee National Guard, or state guard medals. This includes service medals or badges earned by those members. Wearing is allowed the week before Veterans Day and Memorial Day, on those days, and the day after each. An employer may ban them if the employer decides the medals create a safety hazard for officers or the public. This law is in effect now.
