Mobile tribal sports wagers allowed under compacts

The law says some online sports or event wagers are not treated as bets under state law. You must be physically in Wisconsin and use a phone or other electronic device. The server that runs the wager must be on a federally recognized tribe’s Indian lands. The wager must be offered under a tribal gaming compact first signed before April 1, 1993. If all of these are true, you face less state criminal risk for placing that wager.
