Life without release for large-scale child trafficking

The law makes child trafficking for commercial sex a life sentence when the crime involves at least three child victims. The penalty is life in prison without the possibility of extended supervision. People who knowingly profit from those crimes also face the same life sentence.

No parole or work release for child-trafficking life terms

The law blocks release options for these life sentences. People sentenced under the child‑trafficking rules cannot get extended supervision, parole, or work release. At sentencing, the court must state there is no possibility of extended supervision. These limits apply to life terms for trafficking or benefiting when at least three child victims are involved.
