Campaign groups’ new filing rules delayed
The law delays new online registration and campaign finance reporting requirements for covered committees, political parties, and conduits. These groups must use the Wisconsin Ethics Commission’s Campaign Finance Information System beginning December 1, 2027. The requirement was set to begin July 1, 2025. Other parts of 2023 Wisconsin Act 126 keep their July 1, 2025 effective date.
