New rules for Wisconsin Alzheimer’s caregiver aid

The law removes the old income limit from statute for this program. It still says you must meet financial eligibility rules, but it no longer sets those rules in law. To get help, the person must be ineligible for the Family Care benefit if your county has a care management organization. People with Alzheimer’s who live in a county residential facility or a tribal‑associated facility can get services or payments if they meet the same rules. The law does not list new income numbers or an effective date in this section.
