Fewer rules for campground jumping pillows

The law exempts certain “jumping pillows” at licensed campgrounds from specific state building and amusement-ride statutes. To qualify, the device must be installed per the manufacturer’s standards and be at a campground licensed under s. 97.67. A “jumping pillow” is inflatable, air-supported, permanently installed, anchored at ground level, for campers to jump or bounce, and not meant to be portable or moved to fairs, carnivals, or amusement parks. This lowers compliance burdens for campground operators. The law does not add new state fees or penalties for these devices.
