The Wisconsin Department of Justice gives each listed child advocacy center $17,000 every fiscal year. The money funds education, training, medical advice, and quality checks to improve the response to child abuse. This law also adds two recipients: Lakeshore Regional Child Advocacy Center (Sheboygan County) and Child Advocacy Centers of Wisconsin. Grants are paid from the DOJ appropriation under s. 20.455 (5) (ke). The $17,000 amount has applied since fiscal year 2011–2012 and continues.
