More time to charge hiding a corpse

The law gives prosecutors more time to charge the crime of hiding or burying a corpse to conceal a crime. They can file within the normal felony time limit or within 6 years after the body is found or identified. The later date is the deadline. This longer window also applies to past acts if the old deadline had not run out on the law’s effective date.
