Rail workers' tentative deals become binding

Upon enactment, the law makes the latest tentative rail labor agreements binding for the railroads and unions involved in the 2022 Presidential Emergency Board No. 250 disputes. It covers tentative agreements, side letters, and local carrier deals not ratified by that date, even if they failed a vote. These terms now have the same legal force as if agreed under the Railway Labor Act. The parties can still, by mutual written agreement, implement these terms or agree to different terms.
