If enacted, people in full-time apprenticeships under the All-Volunteer Force (Chapter 30) and the Selected Reserve would receive 100% of their monthly educational assistance. If enacted, Post-9/11 program apprentices in full-time apprenticeships would get a monthly housing stipend equal to the Basic Allowance for Housing for an E-5 with dependents, set by the military housing area for the employer's ZIP code. The bill would also remove the minimum-attendance waiver for apprentices in construction jobs listed in NAICS Sector 23, so those construction apprentices would not be eligible for that waiver and could have payments delayed or reduced if they miss required attendance.
