Abolish ICE and stop funding

This bill would abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) 90 days after enactment. Beginning on the date of enactment, no federal funds would be available to carry out any functions assigned to the Director of ICE. The unobligated balance of amounts made available to the Director of ICE as of the day before enactment would be rescinded. Any ICE assets and liabilities as of the date of enactment would be transferred to the Secretary of Homeland Security. If enacted, ICE employees could lose jobs or be reassigned, and noncitizens subject to ICE enforcement could see reduced ICE operations.
