Links to small business guidance online
If enacted, small businesses would find links to agency guidance on the Small Business Ombudsman website when an agency makes a Small Entity Compliance Guide for a rule. Agencies would add links when practicable. It would apply to guidance or interpretations issued on or after enactment. It would not require posting anything exempt under the Freedom of Information Act.
No new funding for this act
The bill would not authorize new money to carry it out. Agencies would need to use existing funds. This could slow or limit how fast the guidance-link effort is put in place.
