Sanctions for Russian child trafficking
If enacted, the bill would require the President to identify foreign people and groups that took, moved, or re‑educated Ukrainian children. Within 180 days, the President would apply sanctions under Executive Order 13581 and Section 111 of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act. The President would provide an interim unclassified list to Congress within 120 days and could include a classified annex. Designated persons could have U.S. assets blocked, face transaction limits, and create compliance duties for U.S. persons. The bill would also say it does not limit other presidential sanctions authorities.
