More fraud-fighting funds for Medicare and Medicaid

This bill would increase the annual funding limit for the Health Care Fraud and Abuse Control (HCFAC) account. It would add $7 billion to that limit for each of fiscal years 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030. For fiscal years 2028 through 2031, it would require treating the prior year's limit as the otherwise-determined amount reduced by $7 billion when calculating the current year's limit. If enacted, this would raise HCFAC money used for Medicare and Medicaid fraud enforcement and program integrity.
