Online course registration and reports for families

Beginning July 1, 2025, Utah’s State Board of Education must create or buy a central online course registration system. Parents and eligible students can register through it, and registration details go automatically to their chosen authorized provider. The board must also publish a standard report card each year for every authorized Statewide Online Education Program provider. Providers must post added performance details, including course-level grade distributions, completion rates, and student and parent survey results. They must also post improvement-plan summaries when applicable and sample audit results when the board has conducted relevant audits.
