How it's made

The process

  1. 01

    Component & Subassembly Production

Motors (universal/BLDC), heating elements (nichrome/quartz), control PCBs with microcontrollers, and plastic housings (ABS/PC) are produced — overwhelmingly in China.

  2. 02

    Motor & Magnet Assembly

Small motors are wound with copper magnet wire and fitted with permanent magnets (NdFeB/ferrite); blenders/food processors and air-fryer fans depend on these.

  3. 03

    Heating & Control Integration

Heating elements (air fryers, coffee makers, toasters), thermostats, sensors and the control board are integrated; magnetrons are added for microwaves.

  4. 04

    Housing & Final Assembly

Injection-molded housings, glass/steel parts, cords and switches are assembled into the finished appliance.

  5. 05

    Safety Testing & Packaging

Units are electrical-safety (UL/ETL) and function tested, then boxed for ocean freight.

Rare earth processing and materials company; operates the only commercial rare earth separation facility in Europe — the Sillamäe, Estonia plant. Sillamäe is a former Soviet uranium enrichment and rare earth processing site on the Baltic Sea. Neo's Sillamäe plant separates rare earth feedstock into NdPr oxide and other rare earth products for European magnet manufacturers. Also operates rare earth processing in China (Zibo, Shandong). Neo is the critical link in a non-China NdPr supply chain for European permanent magnet producers. Listed on Toronto Stock Exchange. EU-funded as part of Critical Raw Materials strategy.
